Welcome to North Bay Jiu Jitsu, the premier martial arts academy located in Novato, California, serving the areas of San Rafael and Petaluma. Our academy specializes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a grappling and submission-based martial art that is highly effective for self defense.  Our style of jiu jitsu also incorporates techniques borrowed from other martial arts such as folk style wrestling and judo in order to make our students well rounded grapplers in this ever evolving art.

 

We offer training in both Gi and NoGi Jiu Jitsu and our mission is to empower our community by teaching self defense to people of all ages and genders. We also take pride in our sport Jiu Jitsu competition team and aim to produce champions, both on and off the mat.
